ADAM SULTAN

With a palette similar to a packet of Skittles, Adam Sultan’s large canvas paintings are filled with florals and scribbles evoking a feeling like you’ve landed on a tropical island, though likely straight out of Willie Wonka.  Colors are audaciously bright and compete with equally busy and somewhat jumbled composition.  Yet the overall effect somehow is still sophisticated and fun.  Lilly Pulitzer on steroids.  Happy and fun, Sultan’s paintings are playful, winking back at us.  Bubblegum pinks, lime greens, and citrus like neon Sunkist, the paintings are fresh, spirited, and whimsical. Taste the rainbow.
