GIUSTO PILAN

Giusto Pilan’s work focuses on the collective unconscious where universal patterns and symbols are inspiration such as primitive forms of man, plants, and even insects.  Pilan works mostly on paper using a mixed technique of marble powder, wax, and pigments where he creates anthropomorphic forms by pressuring iron templates. Pilan’s paintings are balanced between sign and form.
