MARJORIE THOMPSON

Marjorie Thompson’s paintings are inspired by nature. Water, sky, seasons, and obviously trees. Her work is about color, texture, line, and perspective. Her subject is imaginary, yet grounded in local surroundings. Thompson says “by taking away the ‘realness’ of a place, the essence of it begins to surface.” Her paintings take us deep into the woods.
